I can't take credit for this crazy coffee table because I stole the idea from my friend, Amy. In fact, I think she found it on a curb somewhere, and when she moved, she helped me load it in my car to take it to my house for my coffee table.
So, when I got it home, I actually had it outside under the pergola at first, but realized it would be better than my current coffee table, and it fit the room better.
So, I painted it white, and brought it in. I used a galvanized bucket to sit it on. This is fine since we have no little ones living here, but I do have to be careful when visitors come. I know I should build legs for it, but I like the uniqueness of the large bucket!
Okay, so the bucket was old and had paint splashed on it, but I like things that have a story to tell. A new bucket would have had to be distressed for my style.
Kind of like me, a little distressed around the edges, but boy do I have a story to tell! Life is full of ups and downs, but remember those dings and dents make up who you are! Let your character come out, and bless those around you!
Hi, I am Sharon Farmer. I am married, have a great son and sweet daughter-in-law, my parents moved down here years ago, so we share a house (Mom passed away almost two years ago now), and I am ready for a change in my life....hence the blog!
