So, a few weeks ago, I finally got around to rearranging my dining room! It always bothered me that the dining room table wasn't centered under the light fixture. I am a very symmetrical person, so I like things a certain way...probably slightly OCD. I see things that others don't see, which is good and bad. Anyway, I wanted a change, so I started shoving the furniture around. I am sure most of us are like that. I wanted more color because even though I like real wood, everything was brown. If the wood is in good shape, I do not paint it. I love the grain of real wood! I already had the quilt holder, so I used a quilt that I believe my great grandmother made. (No quilt was harmed in the filming of this blog! It is pinched between the wood planks! Lol). I liked how it turned out. There is a point I am making here. We all can make changes in our houses and lives at no cost with a little rearranging. Look at yourself...what do you see that you don't like? Do a little shoving and move it, or completely take it out of the picture if you don't like what you see. Life is about change, some good, some bad, but realize change can be a beautiful thing if you like what you see after a little work!!!
Hi, I am Sharon Farmer. I am married, have a great son and sweet daughter-in-law, my parents moved down here years ago, so we share a house (Mom passed away almost two years ago now), and I am ready for a change in my life....hence the blog!
